James Brown’s “always turn left” story at Hawk Hill

Intersections SF — James Brown at Hawk Hill

James Brown is a self-described “former ad guy” who turned himself into a leading meditation teacher and founder of Flow Meditation. He his recent book Meditation Made Me Do It is a pithy, personal, practical collection of short essays, stories and life lessons that explains “how sitting to do nothing can change everything.” You can find him on the web at flowmeditation.cc and on Instagram at @flow.meditation.

James’ story of how following his intuition resulted in a major change to his life—and his family—takes place at Hawk Hill in 2011.
